JFMMA promotes the following activities for healthier development of the
agriculture throughout rationalization of the farm machinery industry.

Consolidation of the
Farm Machinery Industry
For
promotion of the industry and the agricultural mechanization, necessary
proposals and requirements are proposed and requested to government authorities
cooperating with government policies.
Claims and consultations from consumers are handled. Displays
and participation to shows and exhibitions are cooperated.

New Product Development
In
order to support new product developments, related results are looked up in data
and information at official test and research institutes and so on: development
and realization measures are cooperated for better and higher performances.
Besides
parts standardization of farm machinery, applications of type approvals and
safety certificates are promoted.

Safety and
Environment
Domestic and International information are collected and
provided for safety and environment issues. Moreover, safety technologies and
researches of waste disposals are studied and enlightened.

Vehicles Measures
Applications for type approvals of small size special vehicles are instructed,
held a seminar and acted for.
Exhaust gas regulations and recall campaigns are coped and worked for
smoother implementation.

Distribution and
After Sales Service & Maintenance
Service and maintenance systems of the machinery are studied
for reinforcement rationalizing
machinery and parts distributions to markets.

Foreign trade
promotion
Researches of trend and information in international markets
are sought to collect and to provide. Also, a technical cooperation will be
promoted for developing countries.

Others
“Himawari”, literally “Sunflower” in Japanese, bulletin is
issued and distributed a quarterly.
Statistics are collected, analyzed and opened for farm machinery productions,
shipments, exports and imports as well as domestic demands.A closer connection
and cooperation with related industrial and farm machinery parties or organizations
will be arranged.
